DHGate is a Chinese B2B and B2C shopping website. It sells products cross-border, internationally and thus competes with AliExpress.
It is commonly known amongst our community for budget quality and a comparatively higher price point. It is primarily aimed at street-vendor style resellers, and sacrifices attention to detail for mass discounts.
That's not to say there aren't any good deals on DHGate. But if you are a private customer and willing to put in some time and effort, Taobao and Weidian go way deeper and you can find more and better products.
I definitely think after some time and practice, Taobao will give you more satisfying results.
