Value added services are small services and extra material you can add before you submit an item for international shipping.
Each agent has roughly the same selection of value added services:
- plastic wrapping
- extreme security (wood box etc.)
- shoe box removal
In the end, most of them are very situational and not needed under normal circumstances. But I've found that some of them seem to improve the safety of your items from customs and physical damages, so I'm always getting them, and I think they are well worth their money.
