First of all NFC tags often don't work in retail brands either, and neither do QR codes.

You can just overwrite the link that's stored in an NFC tag by getting an NFC read/write app on your phone. Just create a new tag in the app, store a hyperlink in it and then write it to the chip by holding it closely.
