The old RepArchive.com was basically a nice frontend for a maintained item spreadsheet (think of it as a Pandabuy spreadsheet).
But instead of a excel sheet, it looked like a real store.
The key was that our bot automatically updated the spreadsheet, marking links as dead or out of stock, getting images etc.
It also allowed on-page reviews and
At a size of 7000 up-to-date items, it was far superior to anything we have today.
Sadly, it ended because brands were trying to hold us accountable for the items that were listed (we did not sell anything of course). With google or reddit you won't have that problem, as they are being held accountable. On July 10th, 2021, the old RepArchive shut down.
This forced us to rethink and become a technology provider.
